The 2011 Harambee Classic was a huge success, with 80 golfers enjoying a day that started out rainy and blustery and ended dry. This year's event included a hole-in-one prize. One golfer actually did achieve this milestone, but unfortunately on the wrong hole. Prizes were awarded for best golfers, and also for most creative photo pose. Pictured are Ginny Golding and April Stubbs, Co-chairs and Team 16A, by far the most creative group.
Thanks to everyone involved, we grossed more than $35,000. The money raised through the tournament will be directed towards providing English and Life Skills workshops for the 700 CHES students in Kenya and Tanzania.
